FAQs

Getting a tattoo can be a big commitment. What’s on your mind? Here are some of my most asked tattooing questions.

  • Minimum: $140
  • Hourly: $160/hr
  • 4hr session: $500
  • 8hr session: $1000

It fluctuates, but usually, I am about 2-4 months booked out.

  • Lotion your skin once a day for a few days leading up to your appointment.
  • Eat a good breakfast prior to your session.
  • Come hydrated and don’t go on a bender the night before.
  • Bring snacks and/or microwavable meals if your appointment is longer. You can always store it in our fridge.
  • Bring headphones in case you want to listen to your own music/podcast/audio book to zone out.
  • DO NOT USE NUMBING CREAM.

NO, please do not use numbing cream. Numbing cream messes with the way your skin takes the ink and may lead to a spotty tattoo. If used, I cannot guarantee how the tattoo heals.

In general, no. Finger tattoos are not guaranteed to stay since the skin on our hands and feet are different. They’re constantly moving and being used.  Therefore, the ink usually doesn’t have a chance to settle down before it fully heals, which leads to a spotty tattoo.

No, I’ve decided to focus solely on improving my black & grey tattoos at this time.

Yes, I do touchups within the first 3 months after I do the tattoo (hands and feet are excluded). Price varies so please consult with me if you are interested in a touchup appointment.

After the first 3 months, then the same pricing applies as any other tattoo.

Yes, I do coverups. However, before coming up with an idea, keep in mind that there may be a limited amount of things we can do to fully cover the old tattoo. So please have to be open to other ideas than the one you may have envisioned. I suggest coming up with a list of things you would be happy with putting over it, and we can go through to see which one is possible. Generally, things with texture make for a good coverup.

Sometimes getting laser tattoo removal to lighten the original tattoo up a bit, then doing the coverup tattoo over top of it will lead to better results.

  1. Cash is always preferred.
  2. Zelle is the second preferred method.
  3. Venmo is always a last resort.
